Nomination Fee – $3 per entry (to a maximum of $30)

Prize money:- 1st $5.00; 2nd $3.00 3rd $1.00

CHAMPION $25.00 & RESERVE CHAMPION $10.00

Judging will take place Sunday 5 May 2024. Sheep to be penned by 8:30am for a

9:00am start. Bedding straw will be provided. Please advise Steward by Wednesday

28 April, 2024 of numbers for penning purposes. Ribbons will be awarded to the top

three placegetters in each class. Broad Ribbons for Champions.

STUD EXHIBITORS PLEASE NOTE THE FOLLOWING CONDITIONS APPLY TO ALL SHEEP

BRUCELLOSIS CERTIFICATE – All Stud Sheep exhibited must be from a

Government Accredited Brucellosis Free Flock.

  • A Brucellosis certificate must be supplied on arrival.

  • HEALTH CERTIFICATE – All interstate exhibitors must have a health certificate.

  • A copy must be supplied on arrival.

  • NATIONAL VENDOR DECLERATION OR WAYBILL (NVD OR Waybill) - All stock must be accompanied by an NVD or Waybill. A copy must be supplied on arrival. ALL ACCREDITATION CERTIFICATES WILL BE REQUESTED AND CHECKED ON THE DAY, NO CERTIFICATES NO ENTRY!!

GENERAL REGULATIONS

  • All sheep must be bonafide property of the exhibitor.

  • Entries will only be received subject to the right of stewards to reject stock which they may consider are not of sufficient merit to compete or are the wrong ago of classes in which they are entered – this will be strictly adhered to. Exhibitors shall be responsible for placing their exhibits in the right classes.

  • All exhibits must abide by the decisions of the Stud Sheep Committee.

  • The St George P & A Association Inc shall not be liable for any accident, injury or loss of the exhibit.

  • Exhibitors shall provide their own food, bedding and water containers.

  • Each entry shall be eligible for one class only, except where otherwise stated.

  • The onus of taking entries to and from the judging ring must be on the owner or exhibitor.

  • Stock to be of Show standard only.

  • Sheep must be free of external parasites

  • All exhibitors stock may not leave until completion of all judging and trophy presentations.

  • NLIS Tags are required for ALL sheep.

  • OJD Accredited Studs will also be accommodated.

  • The order of judging may be changed at the discretion of the judge and chief steward.

Nominations are to be with the Steward prior to the start of judging.
