CONDITIONS
All entries must have an NLIS device.
All entries must be delivered to the St George Showgrounds by 8:00pm on Saturday 3 May 2025.
All entries are to be confirmed with stewards on arrival.
All steers and bulls are to be weighed on the morning prior competition.
All student ages must be taken from 3rd May 2025.
Students must be enrolled in a school or TAFE to eligible enter Junior competitions. Students must be enrolled in a school or TAFE to eligible enter Junior competitions.
Any disputes are to be raised with the Stewards, who will then seek resolve dispute in accordance P & A Association policy.
Any requirements of individual studs/schools are to be brought the attention a cattle steward 24hrs prior competition commencement.
DIVISION A – STORE CATTLE
Class 201 Steers - Pen of 3 Steers weighing less than 350kg
Class 202 Steers - Pen of 3 Steers weighing from 351-500kg
Class 203 Heifers - Pen of 3 Any Weight
Class 204 Heifers – Single. Suited for replacement breeder, milk and two teeth only; cattle for this class must be grain-free
DIVISION B – FAT CATTLE
All cattle destined for fat cattle section must be in prime condition as you would be sending to a meat works. Judges and stewards have the right to place cattle into store section of request.
Class 205 Steers Pen of 3 – Less than 350kg
Class 206 Steers Pen of 3 – 350kg to 500kg
Class 207 Heifers Pen of 3 Any Weight
Class 208 Pen of 3 Cows to send to meat works 480kg+
DIVISION C – PAIR OF BULLS DIVISION
Class 209 Pair of Bulls 12-18 months Station bred for purpose to retain in herd
Class 210 Pair of Bulls 18-24 months Station bred for purpose to retain in herd.
Class 211 Stud only: pair of bulls; all breeds; 12-18 months
Class 212 Stud only: pair of bulls; all breeds; 18-24 months
DIVISION D – LED STEER COMPETITION
Led Steer Judging will take place at the Show on Sunday 5 May 2024.
Entries must be received no later than 26 April 2024.
Under the Steward’s discretion.
Entries must be led with nose rings or nose grips. The committee reserves the right to limit entries per person should the number of entries exceed space available.
The committee reserves the right to alter/add classes depending on the number of entries received. Compliance with Biosecurity with NLIS button, NVD Declaration Form and Health Statement would be appreciated.
The classes below will be judged in pens not led.

DIVISION E – JUNIOR JUDGES AND PARADERS
Junior Judging and Paraders will take place on Sunday 5 May 2024 to coincide with the Store Cattle competition.
Entries accepted on Show Day. Nomination fees do not apply.
Entry forms must be completed by exhibitor.
